CEEC International Presents 2023 CEEC Medal at Mill Operators Conference 2024

Numerous Sponsors, Directors, Advocates and supporters of CEEC International were among the 800 attendees at the Mill Operators Conference in Perth, Australia, from 21 to 23 October 2024.  This is the AusIMM’s premier event for mineral processing, with an overwhelming focus on improving the efficiency and minimising the impact of minerals production; objectives clearly shared by CEEC.  Among the many highlights in an excellent conference,  CEEC was provided the opportunity to present the prestigious 2023 CEEC Medal, which recognises outstanding contributions to energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the resources sector.

 CEEC International Collaboration Mixer

On the evening of Monday, 21 October, CEEC International hosted a highly successful Collaboration Mixer at The Reveley in Perth, where around 70 guests gathered for informal networking and partnership-building. Attendees, including industry professionals, researchers, and executives, engaged in spirited discussions about current and future projects and heard briefly from CEEC’s Chair Marc Allen and Executive President, Janine Herzig. There was a vibrant and positive atmosphere with many connections made. The event also served to highlight CEEC’s ongoing work on the Global Water Initiative and tailings management strategies.

Reflecting on the evening, CEEC’s Executive President, Janine Herzig, said, “Bringing together a diverse group of passionate professionals served to again highlight the power of collaboration, communication and celebration in the resources sector. The ideas discussed and the new connections which form at such events, as well as the strengthening of existing relationships, are critical to driving the sustainable solutions we need for the future of resources.”
