MetPlant 2023 moved to 5th-8th November 2023

CEEC International advises that the dates for MetPlant 2023 have been moved by a week to 5th-8th November 2023; CEEC is a proud supporter of this event. The location has not changed – it will still be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in Adelaide, Australia.

The conference theme is ‘World’s Best Practice in Metallurgical Plant Design and Operating Strategies’, while major underpinning themes are energy/carbon footprint reduction, process safety and ESG in autonomous operations, modularisation of plants, social performance and designing for renewable energy. CEEC Director and past Chair Joe Pease is one of the Keynote speakers at the event.

The event will be hosted face to face and online through a virtual platform. Delegates will access outstanding keynote and technical presentations, interactive panel sessions, a full live trade exhibition, virtual booths, interactive discussion groups and networking functions, from anywhere in the world.

Papers selected and presented at MetPlant 2023 are eligible to be nominated for the prestigious CEEC International Medal.

“The conference will be a deep dive into metallurgical plant design, operation, mineral processing, designing with ESG at the forefront, tailings management and more,” said CEEC Executive President Janine Herzig.

“On behalf of the amazing organising committee for MetPlant 2023, I invite you to join us in Adelaide 5th-8th November 2023 for the only dedicated and peer-reviewed metallurgy/mineral processing conference in Australia in 2023.”

MetPlant 2023 has strong support from the South Australian Government, the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Convention Bureau (ACB) and local South Australian businesses which will provide an enhanced delegate and accompanying partner experience including additional opportunities for customisation of sponsor and exhibition facilities.

Registrations are scheduled to open in February 2023, but in the meantime you can sign up to the mailing list here for conference updates.
