MEI’s Sustainable Minerals ’22 conference will be held online from 11th-14th July 2022. CEEC is a proud Industry Advocate of this event.
The organizers noted that the rapid growth of the world economy is straining the sustainable use of the Earth’s natural resources due to modern society’s extensive use of metals, materials and products. This conference will discuss all aspects of material and metal usage.
The confirmed keynote speakers include Professor Sehliselo (Selo) Ndlovu of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa on the topic ‘Complexities and opportunities for gold processing in a changing environment’; Professor Nabil Nasr of the Rochester Institute of Technology, US on ‘Innovation in materials manufacturing through circular economy’; and Sheri Meyerhoffer, Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise, Government of Canada on ‘Human rights, responsible business conduct and sustainable mining’.
Delegates can register for the conference here.
