MetPlant 2013 will develop the themes from previous MetPlant conferences which encompass mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, biometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, water and tailings management, emissions management and energy efficiency.
In 2013 the conference will concentrate on the practical matters of design, beginning with feasibility studies, geometallurgy, process and equipment selection (for greenfield, brownfield and expansion projects), construction and commissioning, and improvements to operations.
The conference themes also include control and instrumentation, management strategies, green processing studies, and whole of life planning and operations through to closure and rehabilitation.
Case studies and discussion of world’s best practice in plant design and plant operations are encouraged.
MetPlant is the conference where design and maintenance engineers, operations managers, planning engineers, metallurgists and process engineers, equipment suppliers and consultants can all review developments in metallurgical plant design and optimisation of operations. The conference and exhibition offer vital information across a range of processes and commodities, and excellent opportunities for discussion and networking between authors, exhibitors and delegates.
